Enrolment options

This course is meant to provide students with a survey of the political, social, economic, and cultural development of the United States from Reconstruction (1865-1877) through the 1960s.

Specific attention will be directed to Reconstruction, westward expansion and the birth of an industrial economy, the Progressive Era, Gilded Age politics, American imperialism, World War I, the Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression,
