CLG32EAN3B : Introduction to Translation Studies (18h TD)
The tutorials will introduce students to Translation Studies through some of the key translation procedures developed in the field. A selection of literary, journalistic, technical and touristic texts will be used as primary materials where students will identify, analyse and compare various translation techniques in texts originally produced and/or translated in French and English. The students will also produce short translations using the key strategies studied in class through various task-based activities.
